‘When Calls the Heart’ Star Andrea Brooks Welcomes Third Child
The When Calls the Heart family just got a new addition! Ahead of the Season 12 premiere in January 2024, one of the beloved cast members welcomed her third child.
The cast and crew just wrapped Season 12 filming, and now they have another reason to celebrate! On November 19, actress Andrea Brooks, who plays Faith Carter on the long-running Hallmark Channel period drama, announced the arrival of her son: “Baby Angus. Earthside,” Brooks captioned an Instagram photo of her cuddling her sweet newborn.
Her When Calls the Heart family flooded the comments with well wishes. “So happy for you all! & I love this shot!” Erin Krakow wrote. Pascale Hutton added, “Congratulations Mama.” Viv Leacock gushed, “There you go!!! Congrats, lil sis!!! Welcome to the 3 kid club!!”
Brooks announced her pregnancy in September 2024. “It was another bumpy summer! Baby #3 on the way!” she wrote on Instagram. Baby Angus is her third child with husband Riley Graydon. Their first child was born in 2019, followed by a second in 2022.
It doesn’t appear that Faith will be pregnant in Season 12 of When Calls the Heart. Brooks opened up about how she was hiding her bump while filming. “Bumping along over here. I do love hiding behind a Dr’s coat whenever possible. The extra extra large Dr’s bag is getting a little heavy these days!” she explained.
Season 11 was an eventful one for Faith. Young Lily is now staying with Faith full time. “Her heart cracks open,” Brooks told TV Insider during our WCTH aftershow Heart Beats. “And I love this for Faith. I think this is a long time coming.” Season 12 will be an exciting new chapter for the Hope Valley nurse.
