‘My Life with the Walter Boys’ Shakes Up Season 2 Romances With New Characters
My Life with the Walter Boys is coming back to Netflix soon and will be introducing more swoonworthy actors in Season 2.
With much of the first season focusing on the love triangle between Jackie (Nikki Rodriguez), Alex (Ashby Gentry), and Cole (Noah LaLonde), the showrunners thought it was time to bring in some new faces. However, this doesn’t mean that the fate of Jackie’s heart when it comes to the Walter brothers has been decided, just that some more romantic dynamics are headed our way.
Announced to return in 2025, My Life with the Walter Boys Season 2 just wrapped up filming in Calgary, Canada, and we have our eye on three new characters in particular.
Could it even be that Alex’s affection will wander elsewhere? B. Hartford (Natalie Sharp) is said to be “a champion rodeo rider who catches the eyes of one of the Walter boys.” Remember, Alex does eventually want to have a career within the horse industry. But after the revelation that Kiley (Mya Lowe) is into him, it seems to be the season for the brother with the inferiority complex. Newcomer Maria (Riele Downs) is also bound to flirt with him in their joint Driver’s Ed class.
However, not all of the latest love interests are reserved for Alex. Nathan also gets another shot at some possible romantic fun. Zach (Carson MacCormac), a senior “who’s commanding and a bit dangerous” is set to make a connection with the kind sibling.
But not every new character who’s going to be introduced in Season 2 will be stirring things up in the romance department. New characters Joanne Wagner (Janet Kidder) and Wylder Holt (Jake Manley) are just going to be there to cause some comfort or ruckus.
What this will mean for the life of Jackie, Cole, and Alex, is up for debate, but it is going to be another fun ride!
Gentry revealed to Swooon that My Life with the Walter Boys is heading into uncharted territory in Season 2. “It’s completely different. We have no connection to the book any further,” he said.
