‘SNL’s Marcello Hernández Revives Domingo & Flirts With Sabrina Carpenter at Her Concert (VIDEO)
Hold up, Domingo (Marcello Hernández) was arrested.
Yes, the viral SNL skit that originated during Ariana Grande‘s stint as host on October 12, made an appearance outside of the popular late-night comedy show.
For weeks, people have been recreating the tune that was performed to the melody of Sabrina Carpenter‘s hit “Espresso” on TikTok, and the trend isn’t slowing down. Now, the two worlds have finally collided. Hernández showed up dressed in his Domingo gear at Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet tour in Los Angeles on November 17.

The “Please Please Please” singer started her “you’re under arrest for being too hot” segment of the show by asking the comedian who he is. Immediately in character, he jumped in with the same deep accent he uses SNL, “My name is Domingo.” She then inquired, “Where are you from?” to which he responded, “I’m from Miami, baby.” Carpenter then jokingly quipped, “I wish you were from my bedroom. What are you doing later tonight?”
Breaking into his version of “Espresso,” the 27-year-old reenacted his part of the segment by saying, “I’m the cute boy with the blue jacket and the thick accent, ey.” The crowd started cheering. In the back of the captured video, there was even a sign with a reference to the skit that read, “Cute boy in a white jacket.”
Both staying in character, Carpenter allowed Domingo to say one more thing before he got arrested in fluffy pink handcuffs. He took the opportunity to chant, “Came all this way, had to explain, direct from Domingo. Sabrina is like a friend, she is like my sis, but I would hook up though.”
Hernández shared very cozy photos from Domingo’s pit stop at Carpenter’s concert. He even brought along the SNL writers!
This came right after he reprised Domingo during the November 16 episode of SNL. This time, Charli XCX was thrown into the mix, and instead of “Espresso,” the renewed version was a parody of Chappell Roan‘s “Hot To Go.”
So, will Domingo and his pregnant beau, Kelsey (Chloe Fineman) make an appearance at Roan’s tour next?
