Is ‘The Golden Bachelorette’ Returning for Season 2? Everything We Know So Far
Joan Vassos‘ journey to a second great love is coming to a close, and fans of The Golden Bachelorette are already demanding another season. With only one more episode left, Bachelor Nation fans want to know what’s next for the latest spinoff.
The question of who the 61-year-old mother of four will choose prevails. Is she going to want to spend her sunset years with insurance executive Chock Chapple or ER doctor Guy Gansert? Once we find out her answer, the wait for Season 2 will truly begin. Here’s what we know so far about The Golden Bachelorette Season 2.
Will there be a Golden Bachelorette Season 2?
ABC hasn’t announced whether or not The Golden Bachelorette has been renewed for a second season. The network hasn’t even technically announced The Golden Bachelor Season 2, but we have high hopes. One reason for hope is that there’s a casting call out for senior men and women looking for love.
In the meantime, you’ll be able to enjoy The Bachelor Season 29. Grant Ellis’ season will kick off on January 27, 2025.
When will The Golden Bachelorette Season 2 premiere?
Usually, there’s about a year in between seasons. The Bachelor typically airs at the beginning of the year, while The Bachelorette takes over a summer spot. But where does that leave The Golden Bachelor and The Golden Bachelorette?
Gerry Turner opened the Bachelor Mansion to his array of golden ladies in the fall of 2023, while Joan and her suitors took over during the fall of 2024. Could it be an entire year before we see The Golden Bachelorette again? It’s certainly possible. This probably won’t be the format for the long haul, though the next few seasons might follow that structure.
If the show does return, Joan has a suggestion for a possible change in the Bachelor Mansion. “This sounds really petty. I think it’s really hard to sleep in the house at night,” she told Swooon and other outlets. “[With] bunk beds and having so many of you crowded in the room, and I think maybe we’d all be a little better if we got a little more sleep.”
Who will be the next Golden Bachelorette?
Since the show hasn’t been renewed, we have no idea who the next lucky lady could be. The next lead would likely be chosen from the next season of The Golden Bachelor. However, they could pull from the ladies of The Golden Bachelor Season 1.
We also don’t even know who the next Golden Bachelor will be. The lead will most likely be one of the guys introduced to the Bachelor Nation fanbase during The Golden Bachelorette. Mark Anderson and Charles Ling are currently the frontrunners.
