Are Jenn Tran & Sasha Farber Dating? They Address Romance Rumors After ‘DWTS’ Elimination
The Bachelorette Season 21 lead Jenn Tran and dance pro Sasha Farber had to say goodbye to their shot at the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy when they were eliminated in week 7.
However, after the Halloween episode, it became clear that they might have gotten something more precious out of their time on Dancing with the Stars. Speaking to Extra, the two wanted to explain their happiness at what they accomplished together on the show instead of revealing whether more than just a professional relationship formed.
“I am so proud,” Jenn said. “I’ve never danced before, and to be able to do the things that we’ve been doing for the past seven weeks, I am so grateful I had such an amazing teacher to teach me and have the patience to teach me all those things… It just shows that if you put your mind to anything, you can do it, not even dancing but just, like, the stage fright of it all.”
After she wrapped up her statement, Sasha quickly shared his joy of getting to meet his dance partner. “It feels like it was fate that we got together, and we met at the airport and danced,” he gushed. Jenn and Sasha were partnered up at the last-minute after the dramatic end of The Bachelorette.
“I feel like she has grown so much as a dancer and I’m so proud of her. Tonight was a really hard dance, and, you know, she put in so much hard work through injuries, through being sick… through tears, and she didn’t want to stop. She’s like, ‘I want to keep going, I want to keep going,’ and, you know, it showed on the dancefloor. She left it all there,” the pro dancer said.
The duo, who had been giving long, descriptive answers, played it coy when reacting the outlet’s inquiries about the dating rumors swirling about them. Sasha quipped that they have “amazing chemistry.” He then insisted, “I live a very private life.” Jenn teased, “I know where you live.”
The 40-year-old continued, “I wanted her journey to be purely about dance. It wasn’t about a showmanship. Yeah, we have amazing chemistry and… you could see that through our dancing.” But, when asked if they were shutting down the dating romance rumors, Jenn grinned and said, “Yeah, we just shut those down.” Afterward, Farber and Tran smiled at each other and Jenn repeated, “We really shut those down.”
