‘Bachelorette’ Jenn Tran Gushes Over ‘Special Relationship’ With ‘DWTS’ Pro Sasha Farber
Jenn Tran went from handing out roses to competing for the Len Goodman Mirrorball Trophy in just a matter of days. The physician’s assistant student was paired up with Dancing with the Stars pro Sasha Farber, and they are sashaying their way through the competition. Swooon spoke with Jenn about learning to trust her DWTS partner after getting her heart broken by former fiancé Devin Strader.
“Sasha and I have such a special relationship,” Jenn said. “We understand each other very well, and we’re very honest with each other. I have so much trust in him fully, and we just work so well together. It’s been really great to have a partner that I can trust and be so fully comfortable with.”
She acknowledged that it’s an “intimate thing to allow somebody into your personal space” while learning to ballroom dance — and the trust wasn’t immediate for Jenn. “It definitely took a little bit of time to get that comfortability with him, but now we’re at such a good place, and I’m just so excited to see where we’re going to go with it all,” she revealed.
The 26-year-old said that Sasha has been so encouraging on her DWTS journey. He’s “always lifting me up and telling me how well I’m doing, because I tend to be someone who is so hard on myself. I’m such a perfectionist, so it’s nice to have somebody there be like, ‘No, get out of your head. You’re doing amazing.'”
Jenn told Swooon that Dancing with the Stars has been helping her “rebuild” her confidence after the tumultuous end of her Bachelorette journey. “It’s been such a healing experience,” she said.
Jenn and Sasha have been getting better and better each week. During Dedication Night, the duo earned a 32 out of 40 for their foxtrot to Taylor Swift‘s “The Archer.” They’ve also been the subject of romance rumors. When asked directly about the dating speculation, Jenn told E! News, “We have so much fun together.” Sasha echoed Jenn’s response with, “We have a lot of fun together.”
