The first footage of the upcoming season shows all the exciting preparations the entire town is making for the big day. From wedding dress shopping to first dance rehearsals to Mel’s bachelorette party, everyone in Virgin River is making sure Mel and Jack have the most magical wedding day.

There’s even a glimpse of what appears to be Mel’s wedding dress! In the final seconds of the teaser, a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it scene of a wedding gown with a gorgeous lace design is shown.

The road to Mel and Jack’s wedding hasn’t been easy for the couple. They’ve faced many hardships that have tested the strength of their relationship. From the Charmaine (Lauren Hammersley) drama to Mel’s pregnancy loss, Mel and Jack have endured and persevered.

The teaser goes back in time to show the couple’s most notable moments through the seasons, including that romantic proposal. “From the moment I set eyes on you, I knew you were special. And as I’ve fallen deeper in love with you… that feeling’s only grown stronger. And I want to spend the rest of my life making you the happiest woman in the world,” Jack said as he popped the question last season.

The streamer also dropped brand-new photos of the couple from the upcoming season. After overcoming so much, Season 6 is going to be a celebration of Mel and Jack’s incredible love story.

According to Netflix, Season 6 “promises fresh twists and turns, escalating love triangles, delightful wedding drama, as well as uncovered secrets from Mel’s father’s past which will transport us to the magic and mystique of Virgin River in the 1970s.”
