Superstar Olivia Rodrigo and actor Louis Partridge have been dating each other for quite some time, but it wasn’t until August 2024 that they became Instagram official. The British-born 22-year-old decided to post a photo of them together during the Venice Film Festival. His American muse returned the favor by promoting Partridge’s series Disclaimer. The handsome couple also made headlines that same week when they made their red carpet debut.

Former child actors Rodrigo and Partridge met through mutual friends. The two have been in the same circle for years. Rodrigo became one of the biggest artists on earth with her debut single, “driver’s license,” and prior to that, she starred in High School Musical: The Musical The Series. Meanwhile, Partridge started his rise with his roles in Enola with Millie Bobby Brown and Pistol, the Sex Pistols series in which he played Sid Vicious.
After their initial meet-up, it was rumored that the two kept in touch via messages before they were first spotted together in October 2023.
How long have Louis and Olivia been dating?
The exact timeline is unknown, but it’s heavily suspected that the sweethearts have been dating since the fall of 2023. Neither one posted the other on their social media profiles until the summer of 2024. They were, however, not that secretive. The adorable pair got even more coverage once Rodrigo released the love song, “so american.” The track is suspected to be about Partridge. However, when Elle asked about the song, he replied, “Not my song, not my place. So I wouldn’t know.”

Both have a history of dating people quite a few years older than them. DJ Zach Bia, 28, is one of Rodrigo’s famous exes. The hit song “vampire” is supposedly about him. She also dated Adam Faze, who is six years older than her. They dated in 2021 when the talented artist was just 18 years old.

Partridge notably dated his Pistols costar Sydney Chandler. She is the daughter of Friday Night Lights alum Kyle Chandler. The actress is eight years older than him.
