A ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Wedding! Season 31 Partners Britt Stewart & Daniel Durant Are Married
Three years after Britt Stewart and Daniel Durant met and fell in love on Dancing With the Stars, the couple has tied the knot! Stewart and Durant wed on August 23 in Santa Margarita, California, they confirmed to People.
Durant and Stewart were partners on Season 31 of Dancing With the Stars in 2022. They finished the show in fifth place and quietly began dating after filming ended. Several DWTS pros were in attendance at Stewart and Durant’s nuptials, including Hayley Erbert, who was one of Stewart’s maids of honor, and her husband, Derek Hough.
Other attendees were Julianne Hough, Alfonso Ribeiro, Johnny Weir, Jenna Johnson, Rylee Arnold, Ezra Sosa, Emma Slater, Alan Bersten, Daniella Karagach, Brandon Armstrong, and Witney Carson. Stewart looked stunning in a strapless white dress for the occasion.
The lovebirds previously admitted they had to cut down their guest list a bit to get the “intimate” vibe they wanted for their big day. “It’s been a little bit of a struggle of who is getting an invite and who do we really see as our family, as our inner circle?” Stewart told People in November 2024. “And Dancing with the Stars, everybody says it, but we really are a family.” Still, she confirmed that she and her fiancé were “having so much fun” with the wedding planning process.
The duo went public with their relationship on Instagram on Valentine’s Day in February 2023. Less than a year later, Durant popped the question to Stewart that December. “Forever!!” they captioned a joint Instagram post announcing their engagement.
Stewart opened up about her relationship with the deaf actor to Us Weekly in August 2023. “Honestly, life with Daniel is the most enjoyable thing. I know that he would say the same thing. We talk about it all the time,” she gushed. “Life together, growing together, learning about each other and the life that we wanna create is the most important and special thing for us. And then all the travel and all the different things that we get to do together, they’re just all bonuses.”
